P.S. I s'pose it wouldn't do any good to say yet again that I don't see anyone

here as 'other' than myself.

Are you seeing others that are yourself seeing others? Sounds like i am

playing words but that is the only way I found to say it.

It prob'ly sounds like an excuse, but words don't do any justice to it. It

can't be put into words.

The closest I can put it is that nothing is separate. There is not a 'self'

here and 'others out there' (or 'other selves out there'). It's just an absence

of a sense of 'me here' and 'you there'.

Please explain the meaning of "myself" in the context above. I would say everything, everyone is the world or consciousness.-geo-

That is the way I see it also. But our particular minds have different

contents. Some have a weird mechanism that makes them behave as if they

where separate.

That's fairly similar to how I would describe it too, except I don't really even

feel there are particular minds. It's like whatever is read on the forum is

something I might have typed into " Notepad " or something myself at one point and

just forgotten I did (or something like that).

Why " this forum " in particular? Read on... There is no fundamental

difference between converstaion alive or in a forum. The only difference is

that alive you receive more sensorial inputs coming from another organism.

There isn o separation in the same way.

Particular mind is like this: what is geo thinking now at 9:30 brazilian

time?

True... although without the body language, tone of voice, etc. on forums like

this, there are a lot of misunderstandings that tend not to happen when one is

talking 'in person'.

Still doesn't feel like there are particular minds. Geo will have forgotten in

P.S. I could have given a coy answer, like:

Geo is thinking: " what is geo thinking now at 9:30 brazilian time? "

;-).

But that is not the point is it? Although brains and minds are universal

events, there are different contents in different brains at different times.

Not that it is more or less relevant then anything else but denying this

fact seems very ...er....irracional.

Facts are what is here, now... what is happening now. Words are arising and

getting typed, a screen is appearing, etc. That's it.

From here, " all the rest " is surmisal, imagination, thoughts arising. Thoughts

are not facts, they are thoughts. Memory. The fact that thoughts arise is a

fact. Their content is imagination.

-tim-

OK...then , the memory contents of one brain are not identical in all

brains. The difference is what I amcalling particular brain.

And...thoughts are no facts? And memory? And imagination? What are they?

What's known here is only what's known directly, here and now.

There is no 'experience' here of many things going on in many brains at once.

This is a guess, a surmisal, a thought arising about " many things going on in

many brains at once " . It is not 'knowledge' of the real kind.

Memory's content is imaginary., obviously. It's imagined. A mental picture, an

image or a word arises, ya know? Imagination.

Oh, c'mon now... a mental picture of a tree is not a tree.

A mental picture of a tree is thought. A tree is a tree.

A tree is an event called tree, imaginaton is an event called imagination.
