Guest guest
I've heard a few on these forums comment that since there's no self, " self-enquiry " is a myth, that it doesn't work. This is not the case, and here's why. As there's no self, self-enquiry is not enquiry into oneself. It is turning away from " externalization " , from " exteriorizing " . From the constant attempts to make things be " away from oneself " , " out there " , some other time, some other place... Some 'other', period. " Other " creates, supports and generates " self " . Thus, one turns away from the habit of creating " elsewhere " , " elsewhen " through " turning within " . It is not turning to a " Self " . It is turning away from " other " . Not rejecting relationships and people, but rejecting the notion that people are *other* people. This is why " self-enquiry " .
