Perhaps he's just speaking as he does, instead of attempting to present himself

a certain way.

 

Some are not interested in 'making an impression on others', particularly when

it becomes clear that others form their impressions based on their own past

memories, their own 'self-image', not on what they truly see in another.

 

As a matter of fact, one cannot see anything in another.

 

There is no other to look into.
