Dear Most Respectable and Noble Edg Person:

Please accept my most humble apologies for having suggested that your link was

spam. For it was not, to my genuine thinking. I viewed it and enjoyed. I was

glad you posted it. I am glad I viewed it! HONEST!

With all due respect: I was kidding. I'm so sorry that I failed to make this

clear to you.

Most Sincerely

Sky

PS: Your condemnation of me and of this was most scathing. Most

scathing. Ie, delightful! Thank you. I hope you enjoyed writing it as much as

I enjoyed reading it.

Most scathing, indeed! I couldn't have done a better job! I, myself, couldn't

have said it better! I agree with EVERY WORD! Kudos to you, my fine feathered

friend!

> I would rather have spam of this nature than the daily onslaught of " spam " of

folks who are only interested in promoting an image of themselves here as some

sort of enlightened Advaitic geniuses.

>

> So many here come off as dropouts from the Wayne Liquorman School Of Advaita

-- and their only ability is to come up with quasi-Advaitic put-downs like they

were Ram Tzu. As if.

>

> And to come here day after day and only find, well, childishness that would

drive away almost any newbie from all-things-Nisargadatta, is a sad thing

indeed. The energy of the dialog here is a besmirching of the knowledge. To

me, even seekers should early on in their search at least attempt to protect the

knowledge -- even if they are not yet clear about that body of concepts. But let

a newbie come here and bang, bang, bang the newbie's ego will be jeered and

trounced. It's tawdry. It's sick. It's dead wrong. It's fucked.

>

> Here -- a place called " Nisargadatta " -- we find a spiritual old west saloon

where even the rinky-tinking piano cannot drown out the catcalled squawkings

that are poised as if newly cognized sutras from the Vedas.

>

> If anyone gets offended about the above criticism, hey, bingo, there's your

proof that you're part of the problem.

>

> You won't miss me if I go, and I won't let the door hit my ass on my way out,

but geeze, surely this criticism of this group has been posted many times before

my own rendition.

>

> I'll get back to you -- gotta think about this -- I'm going to dwell on the

issue of whether or not my integrity requires that I no longer participate

herein and thus be part of problem.

>

> This place now seems to me to be as if a bombed out church that is inhabited

by a few derelicts who pretend it is the Vatican and each one of them the Pope,

but in reality, all that's left out of the 1300+ folks who signed up here are

spiritually ratty squatters shitting on the good name of Nisargadatta by being

insane on purpose instead of wise, loving, caring, etc.

>

> Where's the sense of responsibility for others who come here for support, for

a first lecture about Advaita, for guidance?

>

> Who's the owner of this group? Hur? I'm calling you out. The name

" Nisargadatta " requires that you defend why you've allowed this place to become

such a travesty.
