so you're enjoying a mysterious voyage..

through fine following seas..

and sometimes fighting frighteningly and fantastically high seas.

your cruise is taking you port to port..

into exotic and mundane harbors and ports of appeal.

you see from the deck many islands and mainlands..

at times you enjoy the breezes of refreshing sea air in good weather.

sometimes you are below deck in your personal cabin..

or feasting with fellow passengers at tables of unparalleled glory.

there are all the amenities known to our species available.

games and sports and boutiques and movies and live shows..

the band plays on in elegant surroundings and there is no end..

to the meeting of new friends and learning new things.

stories of diverse lives of others are shared..

and the learning experiences seem endless and always new.

one day you are sitting at the captains table for dinner.

after much enjoyable banter and fine dining..

you are invited to join the captain the next day on the bridge.

this is great!

tomorrow you'll watch from the control and command center..

of this fabulous yacht of magnificent size and resplendence...

as the captain and crew guide this great ship..

and navigate the mighty seas of adventure.

in the morning you go up there with great anticipation and wonder.

after entering and seeing all of the intricacies..

and coordinated navigational management and execution..

the captain asks:

so what do you think?

and you say how fascinating and exciting an experience this is.

he asks you if you'd like to " take the wheel " .

WOW!

you say absolutely and that you'd be honored.

he turns to the crew and says:

ok folks, it's time to go overboard.

and they do!

the captain and crew jump off the ship..

and say good luck to you on their way.

CHRIST all Mighty!

you're all alone at the helm!

what are you going to do?

then you realize..

you've been at the helm..all alone..ALL THE TIME..

and the ship is even more grand than your notions or description..

or even ability to understand.

the ship is called " My Life " ..

and you've been the only captain crew and cast of passengers..

all along.

it' always been " in your hands " .

and you can either set sail and go on..

scream back at the captain etc. for leaving you..

that will do you no good however.

they were imaginary and are now gone.

you're fishing for answers in the wake behind...

looking for reasons in wake of pictures of the past...

and up ahead is the oncoming flotsam and jetsam..

that you need see and avoid...

or your ship might collide with disaster!

or you could go below deck and go into your cabin and get drunk..

and cry and worry and pray and fret and fear.

or you can do as you have done since the awareness..

of the journey you are on has arisen:

drive the boat!

it's yours and nobody can help you.

and if you do that..

without trepidation or trying to blame others..

for whatever rough seas have been traversed..

or where you find yourself at now..

something AMAZING happens..

or rather is merely recognized:

you have all the talents and know how and can do with your ship..

anything you choose.. and go to any destination imaginable.

it's always been this way.

and the way is not fearsome.

the way is not other.

the way is not even the you you had thought you were.

wake up and enjoy..

the greatest and only voyage of discovery..

you will ever know.

it's Everlasting.

acknowledge this and get out of your own way.

and Here the WAY opens into Vastness and Glory.

Bon Voyage!

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, what are we going to do with your chintzy attempts to be a

great thinker?

The below is merely a brainstorming session on a trite metaphor. It lacks

instructive value; it bores; it's something you'd typically hear in someone's

basement at a high school toga party.

Here's you with this history here of trying to get everyone to buy into your

laughable impression of Ram Tzu The Drunkman's Zen Machoism when you lop off

heads right and left here, and then you post this maudlin crappola below. WTF?

What gives? Low on beer over there or what?

You first impressed me here with your passion, but now, when you post all I see

is a screaming abusive haughty prick who especially targets posters here who are

obviously less endowed intellectually or less educated -- a bully with no pulpit

ya be.

Hey, you could be useful if you were in another group -- you could instantly be

a hero in the eyes of all the posters here if you just changed your location --

go to some White Supremist group and start posting with your vibe there -- tweak

some noses there where it would take courage beyond anything you've ever shown.

Let's see you keep posting there when the death threats are like guns blazing.

See? You could be a hero there instead of a putz here.

Anything would be better than the drivel you are presenting here like a four

year old with a paper covered with crayon scribbles.

For all your high hat strutting here, what does ya got? You got one note to

sing: " There's no 'you' YOU YOU YOU is stooooopid stoooopid, hey gang, look

WHO's stooooopid. " A one note song but the tune ain't OM. You're like the

Down's Syndrome kid everyone politely smiles for when his Mom trots him before

the party and makes the kid do some trained monkey act. That's how sad you come

across here.

Hey, here's what you can post that's better: record your fingernails scratching

down a chalkboard and post the MP3 of it here. You just watch how everyone

compliments you on stepping up a notch in the quality of your posts.

Gang,

Here's a post that fulfills. I post it to show you what Bobby was hoping to

accomplish when he attempted to be Zen Shakespeare. Here's a metaphorical

choice to dwell upon that's guaranteed to be downright " koan-esque. " Bobby,

let's see ya answer the questions after the choice-experience as you would

imagine Nisargadatta would. Should be simple-pimple if ya gots the mojo. Teach

us!

CHOOSE THE PERFECT LIFE FOR YOURSELF!

Here are two realities -- two different lives -- and you must choose one of them

to be your own. Try to decide which life you would rather be living. While you

are reading the descriptions of them, try to imagine what " the catch " is, but

also " get into it " and really put yourself into each choice. Try it " on for

size. "

Choice one: In this life, you are the absolute ruler of the whole world. You are

a young, wise, sexy, 187 IQed, PhDed, devout and charismatic leader with the

body of a gymnast. Sycophantastic billions of followers bow at your feet. Love

emanates from you at a rate of 295,108 gigglerads per heartbeat. All of your

people are happy in their lifestyles. The ghastly tragedies of today's world are

non-existent in yours--no cellulite, dust mites, ear hair, or infomercials

(okay, no war, famine, pollution, crime, disease, or accidents either.) In this

life, simply breathing is like eating dessert. And, with your ken expanded by

cosmic psychic powers, all you survey is, well, just swell!

Imagine yourself " waking up " in this world. Here is a glance at just one scene

in this life: the first rays of a morning's splendor slant across a veranda as

you enjoy breakfast that glows with spiritual energy. Like a DaVinci fresco,

life is tableaued before you. A spouse's adoring glances bathe you. Your singing

children play in a nearby garden. Butterflies arrange themselves in bouquets on

the shrubbery. This precious moment will be one of millions yet to come in a

glorious life filled with growth, happiness, and fulfillment. Even at its end,

God will come and personally escort you to Heaven.

That's choice one. Not bad, eh? Tough act to follow! What could compete with

such an offering?

Here is your second choice: You get the exact life in which you live now. You

know -- the one where even household appliances routinely disobey you, where

relationships only last until someone makes a bad suggestion for a video rental,

and where you're expected to perform like an organ grinder's monkey for your

next buck. Yeah, that one!

Have you chosen?

The " catch " . In order to live choice number one you will have to be put into a

permanent dream-state. The dreams that you have will be of that above described

wondrous world of choice number one. At any given moment, if you were to be

awakened, you would report a marvelous personal history. But, you will never be

awakened. Why should you be? Do you want to argue with your toaster about bread

ejection efficacy? Pihhhh! And don't worry, your body will be cared for 24 hours

a day by a trained staff -- until you die.

Now that you've had the above mental experiences, ask yourself:

Have I already made this choice? Many times? Have I ever awakened from a

wonderful dream and somewhat reluctantly entered the " real world? "

Have I ever had a dream that I would re-enter forever? What is it about " real

life " that competes so easily with dream worlds which have their wonderfully

intense emotions and activities? What can I do to be more aware of this value I

place upon my " real life? "

How is my childhood now like a dream I have had? Would I re-enter and relive my

childhood?

What pleasures of life have now passed " forever " and are now something

" outgrown? " My childhood toys? My youthful desires? My adult plans? Which of

these are now like dreams I have had but do not need to re-run? What parts of my

life right now are transitioning into " old news " that no longer is alluring?

How do I spot the future towards which my present life is pointing? What can I

do to make the transitions easier?

How does ordinary life normally " process " my " desire sets? " What is it about the

passage of time that transmutes and/or extinguishes desires?

After I die will any part of my life escape this " dreamification " process? What

will I look back on that I will want to re-enter? Will I be " finished with

desires " when I die?

How do I know the " evolutionary " value of " getting rid of a desire? " What do I

gain from doing so?

How do I embrace " me now " when I know it will one day be " that old me? "

How am I always like a child?

How is my future wrought from my innocence?

What a candyass reply! It was to be expected of course, but one hopes for the

best to come from others. Please, Bobby, please, can you try to surprise us

here?

I mean, if you really want to help here, could you at least throw negativities

at folks that really have some ego-dissolving clout?

I mean, you could call me " fat, " and, ouch, I'd identify with that enough to

remember I was ten pounds over my ideal weight, and I'd feel shitty cuz this is

the third summer in a row that I vowed to get rid of it. See? Now that's how

you crunch an ego -- but here you are calling me a " schizoid nutzoid uncreative

loner " -- where do you come up with that stuff? If I was actually that, do you

really think that a schizoid nutzoid uncrative loner would be therapeutically

handled by that tongue lashing? Of course not. Therefore, it's proved: you're

here to hurt and hurt and hurt and take a sullen glee from the doing so. Sounds

like that must be what life's doing to you -- poor widdle guy -- so there's my

foundation for compassion for you, but geeze couldja just look in the mirror?

Gotta at least try to target another's reality if you're going ego hunting. Try

sharp-sticking my writer's pride for instance, but when you use words like

" schizoid " you come off like someone pretending to be Freud while standing naked

in the middle of a heavily trafficked street. Can'tcha hear the honkin'?

I was hoping that by one-upping you with a far more accomplished post that does

to you with excellence that which you fail at doing to others here with your

snicker-vibe and crayon penmanship that that would be showing the world that you

are not even an artist when it comes to put-downs; and that maybe just maybe

that you'd step up to the plate and deliver some home runs here. But there you

are, a moil just done with a group briss with a bunch of foul tips in your hand.

Teach us O Ram Tzu wannabe. Get the fucking tee shirt finally.

What gives? Low on beer over there or what?

The 'chasm' is the chasm between 'me' and 'you', between 'inner' and 'outer',

between 'self' and 'other'.

It isn't there, in truth, but is imagined to be there.

A wall is projected.

Awareness is introjected into 'this body'

and projected as 'out there' into 'that body'.

Torn apart in two different directions.

And yes, one is that chasm.

Sky,

Now that's how to show the emptiness of egoville. Thanks.

I don't know why I'm addicted to spewing words. I just enjoy it like others do

pizza.

Bobby is a challenge to me, cuz the fucker knows some shit and all he's using it

for is to cudgel folks. It's tawdry to taunt without having the least intention

to manifest some evolution.

I'm a villager pretending to hold up the mountain with Toddler Krisna -- I have

a stick, there's the mountain about to crush me, who can blame me for not having

perfect faith in the Blue Kid?

Lordy!

you're such a needy pest.

and also a touchy creep.

you just can't let go can you cisco?

well that's typical of you.

and this clinging and cloying bullshit is why you are alone.

as for me..

if you weren't such great comic relief..

i'd just say kiss of like charlie did.

but i enjoy the laughs.

have you learned anything here robert?

likely no..

you just seem incapable of " getting it " .

it's fun toying with you.

respond to me slave.

ROFLMAO!

your Boss:

..b b.b.

you crunch an ego -- but here you are calling me a " schizoid nutzoid uncreative

loner " -- where do you come up with that stuff? If I was actually that, do you

really think that a schizoid nutzoid uncrative loner would be therapeutically

handled by that tongue lashing? Of course not. Therefore, it's proved: you're

here to hurt and hurt and hurt and take a sullen glee from the doing so. Sounds

like that must be what life's doing to you -- poor widdle guy -- so there's my

foundation for compassion for you, but geeze couldja just look in the mirror?

Try sharp-sticking my writer's pride for instance, but when you use words like

" schizoid " you come off like someone pretending to be Freud while standing naked

in the middle of a heavily trafficked street. Can'tcha hear the honkin'?

there you are, a moil just done with a group briss with a bunch of foul tips in

your hand.

WTF? What gives? Low on beer over there or what?

Sky,

Gotta run and do real life, but let me say the ugliest truth I got:

If YOU posted the exact same words that Bobby does, I wouldn't be in the least

alarmed, and I'd be praising your efforts. Your words are posted like birds

doing their first morning chirping -- songs about high flights past and about to

come.

So, there, I deserve punishment for public cringing at Bobby's vibe and yet all

the while ignoring your little worm eating ways.

You've corrected me several times here, and yet all I see is your heart pumping

out gigglerads of mirth. Honest!

Zooooooom . . .

What's posting on forums... false life? ;-).

Is 'now, posting and reading' somehow less real than 'then, in the future, doing

something else'?

Isn't the above reversed?

Bobby,

Now Sky's shown you how to crunch a puffy head. See how it's

done?

Sky,

Man-O-Man-O-Man, you listed all my faults -- now where am I going to get

another Emperor's New Outfit?

You are the true waterboarder here. I gasp. I gasp.

compassion), leadership of the throat (speak only when there's something

to say), perspective of the third eye (see the natural order of things),

wholeness of the crown chakras (love oneself as other and vice

versa).

Oxen, grunts and camels are left brained: do or die, win/lose.

Stubbornness to survive (ego, focus on separation), lust to blindly hump

(talk even if you have nothing to say), the greed for power of the belly

chakra (must always have the last word).

The adventure is over.

There is no adventure with no " I am " to have it.

who said that?

to whom was it said?

is this an adventure that's not?

why bother talking?

i'm not here to take any interest.

it doesn't matter and doesn't mean a thing.

there are no such things as things nor meanings.

what does " have it " connote?

what's " it " or " have " ..

or the one who's supposed to be the subjective " moment " in this..

suppossed act of having an it?

..b b.b.
