And screaming and cursing like hell When another does it to you, Samuel Beckettlike, but more so Every morning for all eternity. Maybe wisdom is complete And utter fragmentation: The right hand never knowing What the left is doing/dong Not even forgetting Maybe wisdom is hatred and idiocy Contempt, torture, genocide And NEVER learning from one's mistakes From one's suffering. Maybe wisdom IS suffering Mindlessly, unbearably, stupidly Like a roach eating another while Itself being eaten in agony Maybe wisdom is the absolute. The absolute absence of the remotest Possibility for anything but pure shit: Maybe Wisdom IS the absolute Absence of wisdom. Maybe maybe: Inconclusiveness Reigns eternal Maybe God, Nis, Bush, Einstein, Gandhi, Hitler Are nothing more and nothing less Than monkeys on our backs Themselves with monkeys on their backs We ourselves monkeys on the backs Of those we love/hate most/least Maybe and maybe not And maybe it just doesn't matter Either way.
