It all boil down to this:

All spiritual ideas

pertain to the self.

And there isn't one.

In matters spiritual...

nobody knows anything.

No one has any idea

what's going on.

But there is this

most alert sentience.

It will never be able

to see itself.

But while it is aware...

it can explore the

mystery of being a little.

Isn't that wonderful?

it is *wonder* itself..

....and a terrifying wonder... the edge moves beyond what

can be experienced in this moment of being alive..

the unknown is always unfolding its yearning to be known.

or is it because all this busy readers of spiritual books have no idea at all

about the being, identity and existence of this mentionned Masters....and

therefore declare, with pride, that there is nothing to know about

anything...etc

A funny question is revolving in my mind since...I think...yesterday:

What is it that we call " known " ? What is it that clicks inside the organism

or whatever..... that.... something is called as " known " ?

Relationships between things physical can be established and verified.

Things spiritual exist only as ideas relating to the sense of separation.

Even the physical. What is it that we know? If by good forune or luck or

calculations something hits the mark we say: ahhhh..I know.

Just one tinny coincidence. We dont know what an object really is, what

another object really is...then they happen to meet and we " know " .

There is a great sense of reasurement....funny ...

I guess the same rules apply... don't tell me something I don't know, cause I

wouldn't understand if I heard (or read) it.

Until the student is ready... nothing will appear.

We came to understand that the earth was not the center of the universe through

the observations of many people over many years.

Things spiritual do no lend themselves to such scrutiny simply because they

exist as speculations concerning the relationship of the self to the existential

reality........and it doesn't have one.

Maybe it could have been, if it had existed.

But it never did.

" I could have been a contender. "

" I could have been a sentience exploring mystery. "

No alert sentience to explore any mystery.

Wow.

That's a mystery.

Or not.

Candle blown out.

Poof!

The unknown has no yearning.

What is unfolding is just a chain of memories, always " as if. "

To try to exist in a memory chain, to be sentient there, to explore wonder, is

delusion.

No matter how it can be prettied up, no matter how much of an adventure it can

be made to look like ... it's pretense, wishful thinking.

It misses the mark.

It is " dukkha " ... unsatisfying angst.

And, it is choiceless.

It is a twist, a distortion, that seems to happen, " as if, " because it is

remembered to have happened that way.

And there is the attempt to try to exist there, having that experience.

One instant of natural unimpeded awareness.

Poof!

There is no living there, in memory.

There is no wonder to explore there.

One just is.

No yearning, no trying, no existing, no nonexisting.

And sure, express yourself however you want.

Write whatever you have to say.

You can't help it, I can't help saying this.

Try to hold onto any of it?

Nahhhhh.....

It is memory that is " verifying " the relationship between things physical.

It is a memory-self that establishes and verifies those relationships.

It is a memory-self that makes the distinction between things physical and

things spiritual, believing one to be more real than the other, and imputing

separation to ideas that it considers spiritual.

This is that " it " that you have been saying doesn't exist.

And yet, there is the attempt to have it exist, as if it could distinguish

between real things and unreal things, things existing and ideas that make

separation.

When the memory-focused, memory-distinguished, and memory-constructed sense of

reality dissolves, along with its center for making distinctions ...

This is.

It has been said that when you live a good life, and go to heaven

you get to see God face-to-face.

Why?

To prove what?

That the memory-based loop that says " hit finger, swelling and pain = reality "

is true and actually existent?

No way, Jose.

But if that's as deep as it goes for you, that's as deep as it goes.

All I'm saying is that inquiry goes deeper than that.

Inquiry = what is = awareness = nothing = totality =

......

How much of your sense of reality can possibly be stripped away?

What is left when all of it is gone?

(This isn't a verbalizable answer.)
