It is important in Geo's definition of reality, that there are organisms who

feel pain, and there are not " I's " who feel pain.

Geo is satisfied with his definition of reality, believing that it reflects what

is actually the case.

Geo is not capable of understanding that there never has been any " Geo the

knower. "

All of Geo's definitions of reality serve " Geo the knower " who is not there, nor

has ever been there.

But, as long as Geo can work on his definition of reality, the impression can be

maintained that there is a Geo the knower.

Geo's definitions of reality serve no one else but Geo the knower. All of these

definitions refer to Geo the knower, even though he is quick to point out that

his definition of reality includes no " I. "

Toomb's definition of reality relies on a " conceptual overlay " which he uses to

prove " there is no self or Self. " This definition of reality serves no one but

Toom.

Dan's definition of reality relies on " awareness " and " mutual co-arising and

co-defining of perceptions, constructs, and concepts. " Dan's definition of

reality serves no one but Dan.

This is true for each and everyone who posts here, Marc, Anna, Pete, whomever.

It is true for each one who doesn't post here.

It is true for any defining of reality, and description, any perception, any

experience.

The key to self-inquiry is not to arrive at the correct definition of reality.

Self-inquiry is a nonquestioning awareness that is an immediate insight into the

reality-formation process. We have also called that process memory, identity,

self, conceptuality, and time.

The insight is spontaneous, involves no sense of a do-er, is not time-bound, is

not made to happen, belongs to no one, has no content, has no meaning, has no

purpose or goal.

It cannot be forced, because there is no outside being to do any forcing of

anything.

It not other than what now is, immediately so.

It doesn't need to be made to happen, and cannot be made to happen.

It cannot be derived from any words that seem to supply meaning.

Not necessarily one is trying to capture reality by stating one thing or

another.
