Guest guest
Yesterday I was sitting in the upstairs room looking out at the rain and a question came to me. What is the difference, if any, and how to convey that difference, between the two statements bellow. --All there is is consciousness. ....and --All there is is consciousness, and " that " which is beyond it. One could say that " non-duality " have two different meanings/connotations/whatever... depending on which of those two " statements " are groked as fact. I know the first impulse will be to try to defend one or other interpretation, but that is not the proposal. The question is more like...how to differentiate them? -geo-

It is a very popular statement because there are imaginary others who can be easily found/percieved....who agree with it....for some comfortable reasons...... Main reason is to protect a certain imaginary being...trapped in him/herself. In fact...nobody could ever realy Live such statement....and consciousness. It is therefore of complete worthlessness..... Primary for the one who stay/go for it. ..... This lead us the the second statement.... " All there is is consciousness, and " that " which is beyond it " Because of the non-sense....flowing and going with the first one.....one try to give a certain " dynamic " to the first statement.....in inventing a mysterious force of " behond... " ....etc .... Why not agreeing that the mentionned " consciousness " belong to whatever imaginary being.....and that everything which Is such imaginary being....Is of this consciousness. That would be a nice non-dual concept....no?... Marc
