You may believe you have a self, and are trying to get rid of it.

But you actually have no self, and are attempting to create and maintain one.

This is why words/concepts 'don't do the trick'.

The attempt to have a self falls away, or not.

I think the " trick " is understanding. It is not a matter of effort. The

understanding of the meaning of an " I " as " observer " , and the fact that

observer can not be observed. Once the false is seen/understood...nothing

else is needed....except perhaps understading again and again...

Yes, I agree.. definitely not a matter of effort.

It's as though awareness is 'rewired' in a new configuration, or rather, the old

configuration (self/other) simply drops away. The " wiring " for it is lost.

It could be a matter of neurons in the brain, I don't know... speculation. In

any case, the self/other configuration isn't there anymore, or is there

" provisionally " when socializing, seen as an as-if sort of thing, a matter of

custom and convention.

It is interersting...the neurons ting. Not actualy what happens with

moleculs and cels, but the quality of a mind that has understood. Is it

definitive? Is there some gradual change? Nothing is gradual in the nature

of the understanding - no, but perhaps in the quality that results from the

changes in the structure of the mind. We are not dealing with neuroscience

here....

The distinction between true and false only occurs in time.

Everything is true. The false as false is true.

No-thing is either true, or false.

Imagined (as being static, fixed, existent).

It's sorta like the flow of water coming out of a faucet...

The water coming out can't be called a 'thing'.

Everything is like the water, ceaselessly changing.

True and false are relative, and depend on the evaluation of an observer.

No observer, no true or false.
