P: In deep stillness there is no sense of " I. " The " I " is the burden of memory. It compares and links the now with the past, it creates a faked continuity. This " I " doesn't feel itself, it's the dead weight of memory which closes consciousness into a self-repeating loop. In this basic sense of existing without any sense of selfhood, it's realized that consciousness without content is not different than being unconscious. Now, this might not seem very logical, but logic can't function at this level of utter simplicity. This cannot be explained fully with words, so that someone that has not be so still could sense its nature. >
