There is a point where 'school is out', due to failure of both teacher and

student(s) to show up.

 

One wanders the pitch-black halls of a school that never was, peering into dim,

empty classrooms that only faintly suggest anyone was ever there.

 

A small flashlight comes on from time to time, illuminating 'what was' as 'what

never is now'.

 

And one walks these deserted halls alone, free of life, free of death, free of

both learning and its absence.

" You just need to get out more! " ;-)

 

There comes a point where it is abundantly clear, that there is nowhere to get

out to, and never was.

 

And thus, no staying in either ;-).
