What Nissy Said

Ok.......Maurice Friedman was getting what Nissy said filtered through a

translator's personal world view.

He was saying what he thought Nissy meant.

Maurice then filtered what he thought the translator meant through his own

personal world view and you get this information years later and think you have

found the key that will ease the existential terror of imaginary isolation.

Nissy never said " I Am That " .

The title came from Maurice.

That should tell you all you need to know.

This is a myth, promulgated by those who desire to diminish or negate Nis's

teachings.

Don't believe anything you encounter on the Net, *unless* it boosts one's sense

of self, one's personal agenda. Then, believe it eagerly ;-).

" Knowledge " here is based on 'clear seeing', and that's how I " judge " Nis's

teachings. Does it agree with the 'understanding' present here, or not?

If not, toss it. If so, enjoy it.

Not a word of it will ever bring anyone to a clearer understanding -- which

*is*, in the absence of a 'someone' to understand.

" Clear seeing " is an oxymoron.

Rule 1:

If you think you understand something......you don't.

Rule 2:

If you think you see something clearly.....you don't.

Nissy never said "I Am That". The title came from Maurice. That should tell you all you need to know.

-???-

Who wrote that?

Well it is quite the opposite.

Nis was told that his book was going top be named "I am This". He answered that he would not let it. Unless the title should remain "I am That" he would not authorize the publication.

Rule 1: If one is confused, there is confusion, not clarity.

Rule 2: If one doesn't know what clarity is (totally obvious), there is

confusion.

Rule 3: If one thinks there are rules, there's *real* confusion running around.
