Edg: Let's all encourage Toom to keep posting here -- otherwise he might get a

job writing Hallmark cards and thereby smother uncountable others with gooey

There's certainly some truth to all that.

 

" Fear of intimacy " is very common indeed.

 

Intimacy signals a loss of oneself, of the boundaries we establish to separate

" me " from " you " .

 

When the self dissolves... intimacy is, without an object.
