Guest guest
So often one can read from people who have put there nose a bit into non-dual literatur that there are no objects. But that is only half truth. What we see as an object in reality is the subject. Why ? It is because consciousness is totally subjective. The brain is assoziating and comparing sensory input with its memory and then the result is made conscious. There are as many realities as there are people. Everyone sees an object through subejective eyes and that's why an object never is seen as an objective object but only as an subjective object. To say that there are no objects is wrong. There are objects but they all are subjective objects. Each object respresents the subject which is looking at it. Which means > The Object Is The Subject <. You are reading yourself when you read these posts. You are responding to your own subjective impression of you. And the brain you imagine to be doing the reading, isn't doing the reading. It is another object that you've subjectively supplied to yourself. - D -

Like the Cowardly Lion in the forest: " I do believe in brains, I do believe in brains, I do, I do. " I guess it shows that one can quote all the Zen stories and poems that one likes, and still have a pet concept that is key to the sense of reality. Wouldn't want to lose that conceptual anchor now, would one? But meanwhile, keep telling oneself " I am just helping everyone by contradicting them and bringing uncertainty, just like the Zen masters of antiquity who were so cool.
