Ya got me, Dan (whatcha gonna do with me? ;-p). Nothing. Just laugh. Helplessly. Hopelessly. Delusionally. But at least I'm aware of the delusion - of appearing as a dream character to interact with dream characters. Delusion is okay - as long as it's recognized as nonvolitional. Just comes and goes like anything else. Or, I may start running round the streets, going up to complete strangers: " Mr., Mr., please. Ya gotta stop this dream. Stop it, before it's too late. " Like that guy in Invasion of the Body Snatchers, back in the 50's. -- D --

Sure... or call it 'imagination' instead, to use a 'nicer' word. Nothing wrong with playing in the fields of imagination from time to time. Why not? One's original face is in plain view, quite honestly. It isn't seen, because folks are looking elsewhere. Nobody is interested.

Nobody is interested. D: Yes. Very true. One's original face is plainly in view, right here, where there isn't any actual boundary for the self. Nobody is interested, because there isn't any identity to be had from it. There isn't any emotional kick, like people look for when they go back-and-forth with others. No other to go back-and-forth with - what's going to be gratifying about that?
