Guest guest
The primary reason that human beings have taken over the earth is that they can learn from each other. A baby chimpanzee will watch its troop members break a nut with a rock or extract termites using a long stick. Primates are genetically inclined to copy the behavior of their peers to accomplish a desired goal. That works extremely well in all matters physical. But in the spiritual realm.....it falls short. For one very good reason. toombaru

Yeah, that and having opposable thumbs also had a lot to do with it! :-)) Come to think of it, opposition isn't the problem in and of itself. For example, the thumbs oppose the fingers, but when both thumb and fingers work together as a "whole" hand, no problem! But if the thumbs were to oppose the fingers (or vice-versa) "as if" they are separate independent entities, then the sparks fly! I figure the same could be said about so-called humans! By the way, I just heard of the news today that scientists have finally discovered the "missing link" between our ape-like ancestors and humans! It's *US*! :-))< A baby chimpanzee will watch its troop members break a nut with a rock or extract termites using a long stick.< Primates are genetically inclined to copy the behavior of their peers to accomplish a desired goal.< That works extremely well in all matters physical.< But in the spiritual realm.....it falls short.< For one very good reason.< toombaru
