" That which sees all this, and the nothing too, is the inner teacher. He alone

is, all else only appears to be. He is your own self (swarupa), your hope and

assurance of freedom; find him and cling to him and you will be saved and safe. "

-- Nisargadatta Maharaj

And so, if " Self-realization " is a fact, how to reconcile this with " there is no

self? "

This is actually simple, conceptually speaking, and even simpler

non-conceptually.

If there is only " Self " , it's like saying " there is only light " -- and if so,

there is no such thing as darkness, and so there is no such thing as light

either -- as there is nothing to compare or contrast " light " to, and never has

been.

This makes sense here logically, and hopefully makes sense to you, too. It is an

easy reconciliation between " Self " or " self-only " and " no-self " .

The 'trick' is realizing it directly, as the past keeps on asserting and

reasserting, choicelessly, or it dissolves, as never having been anything alive

or real. And so one is the " dead living " , or one is the " living dead " ... no two

ways about it.
