Nisargadatta: You suffer and see others suffer, but you don't respond.

Questioner: What you say is true, but what can I do about it? Such indeed is the

situation. My helplessness and dullness are a part of it.

Nisargadatta: Good enough. Look at yourself steadily -- it is enough. The door

that locks you in, is also the door that lets you out. The `I am' is the door.

Stay at it until it opens. As a matter of fact, it is open, only you are not at

it. You are waiting at the non-existent painted doors, which will never open.

And if choice existed.......you could choose not to go to conferences.......

Especially if you were able to understand the nature of your own needs and see

far into the future and determine the outcome of your choice.

Imaginary choices of imaginary beings.

One understands one is the projector, the screen, and everything " happening " on

the screen - at once.

The point-dots making the pictures keep fluctuating, on/off, on/off.

Infinite configurations are possible and " happen " as movements move on.

Thoughts appear and disappear.

Countless body minds.

Ideas of choices taken, and histories occurring.

Nothing up my sleeve!

Voila!

A world, a being, lives, histories, choices.

Poof!

Now you see it, now you don't.

Love,

Dan

^^ Indeed. The picture is 'hazy' even, never having came into existence.

Everything downstream form " I " is conceptually separated.

There's just no way to capture this with words.

Or maybe just say really loud:

" MU! "

There is no " static " conceptual separation.

Words/images arise and disappear, endlessly.

There is nothing 'static' at all, particularly not an " I " .

" I " is the attempt to stabilize.
