Guest guest
BTW... I am wondering if enlightenment kind of work like a " disease " ! i.e. diseases might have causes... yet, it is not 100%. For example, smoking might cause cancer yet, not everyone who smokes get it and some who never smoke get it too. Just smoking may not guarantee it. Just not smoking may not prevent it. Best we can say is smoking increases the likelihood of cancer! Maybe, what is smoking to cancer, meditation (dhyana), contemplation (vichara)is to enlightenment! I still don't know how I got 'it', yet, to pretend to not having gotten it will be like betraying 'grace'... no matter how egoist and vain I might appear in 'acknowledging' it! whoever is meditating nicely....will get the benefit of it... .... it doesn't make sense trying to meditate...and at same time being attached to who/whatever...included imaginary oneself .... to " meditate " for security/enlightenment/knowledge etc reason.... is like trying to fligh over the ocean...long distance....sitting in a flight simulator ....
