When facts are presented and considered, opinions can change.

According to Hur ji, he removed Bob ji from this forum many times. He moderated

Bob ji. He started a poll asking member's opinion on what to do with Bob Ji.

I thought Bob ji was a pretty good members. However, once I had few personal

interactions with him and read more of his interactions with others, my opinion

changed and I started seeing him as deranged member who is killing the

possibility meaningful discussion with his excessive and unwarranted insults and

abuses.

I am not sure, if I need to feel " personally hurt " in order to request a teacher

to stop a kid from peeing in the classroom or to expel him if he does it

repeatedly in spite of many warnings. Or, to ask my manager to do something

about a team-mate who keeps repeatedly farting in a group meeting. Or, to ask my

neighbor to stop his dog from shitting on the pubic walkway. I consider these

objectionable and " off limit " behaviors irrespective of whether I get personally

hurt by them or not.

I also don't see any need to be beyond getting hurt physically or verbally. So

far, I am fine being an 'ordinary human'. Bob jee hasn't hurt me much. But, it

is not because I am beyond hurt. It is simply because so far, he has been gross

than skillful and efficient. There are some excellent people who managed to hurt

me far more without ever having to call me " Asshole " and such.

Hope your " meeting " with Bob ji hasn't changed your view dramatically :-) If it

has, please let me know.

they do to hostile acts live in a verbal madhouse

where words do break bones.

I haven't met Bob. What changed my view of him is

that he has changed. Before Bob posted like a

lunatic with a machine gun. Now he is surgeon. Well,

from time to time, he tries to amputate the wrong

leg, but, hey! Surgeon's errors kill more people than

serial killers. Bob and surgeons are necessary, or

so, Hur thinks. )

i don't think bob is necessary. he's just part of the picture. usually in the

history of open groups someone plays his role but at some point the candle burns

out and a new " bob-like " serial poster appears. in moderated lists if anyone

sticks their head out of the rye field for too long they're removed. i guess you

can call bob the pusher in the rye.

was located in an Arizona/Mexico border desert town.
