I'm very glad that you all are posting here,

and I presume that you are doing so because

you want your ideas to be read. So it's

only common sense that you'd make it as easy as

possible for your reader to find, and read

what you write.

When a thread becomes more than three posts long,

it's time to snip the old material to make new

material easier to find.

It's common practice in these groups that

most people when responding, write their

responses below (not above) the post

they are responding to. If, you don't like

that, you can respond above, but be consistent,

if one time you respond above, and another below,

and sometimes, when the mood strikes, in the

middle of a long post, you are turning reading

you into an egg hunt. That is fun for kids, but

we are adults here, I hope. Plus you'd seem like

and inconsiderate, spaced out, reactive writer

and not the thoughtful, considerate writer of a

wise reply.

Your key board is not running away. Take some

time to read and understand what you read.

Give some thought to your reply, savor it like

a dish you are cooking for beloved guests, and

serve it as neatly as you can. After all, we know

you only by what you post. As you take care to

clean your home and dress well when entertaining

guests, write a readable post if you want your

readers to have fun, and come back to read you

again.

Pete
