Guest guest
From another list. Re: Is there division or is there not division? Dear (...) In the mood for an allegory. A beggar finds out that he is a king. This knowledge changes his behaviour as a beggar. He lives on like a beggar - knowing he is a king. He behaves like a king and people wonder why. He is just a beggar they say Fine. I would fool the world if I said that I do not live in the past. Whenever there is thinking taking place -- there is living in the past, because thinking is founded in the past, in memory. Although thinking takes place now - it is of the old and so what actually is now - sans thought - is semi-noticed - semi-present. This is living in parallel worlds. One is the world of thinking (actual in that it is taking place now, here). The other is the world of the actual without the interference of thinking (actual in that it is taking place now). Some would say, and I am one of them that the latter is the ultimate reality because thinking is absent. No longer two worlds - just one. No longer half and half - just one whole. My errand has been all the way through to find out what is, when all of the layers of the known have been removed, negated as the not present, and therefore in a manner of speaking " false " . What is there - the presence without thought - is an unknown presence which can not be negated of course - and therefore - in a manner of speech - is genuine, authentic, original, new. The world of thought is the world of the beggar, and the kingdom is the world without thought. What the beggar can do then - is to live his life as a beggar in a manner which reveals his true non-identity, that of a *king* Thank you and thanks for not letting me off the hook, it is very kind of you. Love Lene PS. I am not a preacher although I preach -- in no way on a mission to change what is - or " what is " - in no way interested in some transformation of the mind. I have avoided this all my life and yet I speak as if it were possible to change the present! Which it is NOT, evidently. Change is to do with the future, not with what IS. And look! Of what use has it been, all the wishing and wanting to change the world? It has be totally USELESS! Whooops. Note this: One cannot change what IS. That being a fact - how then can one change what is to come? Do not fool yourselves, my friends. Look - what change has come about in you through reading what I have said? None. Note this: But thought says different. Thought says: come on - let her not deprive you of your good hopes and wishes and wants for a world that is humane! Where humans are actually humane - lend her not an ear my friends! She is just a bundle of thoughts herself and who thinks she she is, the she-devil, to have the guts and tell the world which thoughts are the best the rightest, the truest? Huh? Heh heh ... " Lene " (actually no-one) loves you all
