Guest guest
25-02-2010-THE LOVE OF MOTHER SHIRDI SAI Win the love of Mother Sai to win the love of God SAI AS KRISHNA part 7—by Saibanisa Now we go to King Ranthi deva’s life History as told in Bhagavatham. He gave away all his wealth in charities and became a pauper. He even parted with the food he was taking when asked for.Baba used to collect Rs 500/-, per day as dakshina during the years 1908 to 1918 and distribute the entire money collected to needy and poor. He would distribute to Amali-Rs2/-,Jamali-Rs3/-,Baijabai-Rs25/-,Thatya-Rs20/-.He was a fakir by next day morning. Once again Baba was ready seeking alms. HE used to take food colleted from the five houses in his begging bowl, mixed them all, unmindful of the taste. His food used to be shared with others and partly eaten by cats and dogs. I feel that king Ranthideva in Bhagavatham is one and the same as Sainath in Dwarakamayi. Now coming back to Bhagavatham, Kaliyamardhan is related to Sri Krishna’s childhood. After performing the kaliyamardhana and loosing the total ego, Kaliya comes out of the river Yamuna. He tells Krishna that once he comes out of the water, he has to face the garutmantha readily waiting to kill him. Krishna says “Do not be scared. Your hood is carrying the impressions of my feet.Garutmantha cannot do any harm to you. I am giving you the assurance.†The impressions of my feet shall save you. Thus Krishna gave an assurance even while he was a small child. In the fifth chapter, Baba allowed to prepare his padukas and put them under the Neem tree. During the year 1912 while installing them Baba said that these feet are the feet of the Lord. Those of the devotees who bow down, offer dhoop on Thursdays and Fridays to padhukas shall have all their fears removed and would be a blessed. Just as Lord Krishna gave Kalian an assurance so did Baba to all his devotees. He never said that they were his feet but said that they are Lord’s feet. Those who worship here shall stand benefited and their fears removed. So far we heard about what Lord Krishna had said. Now let us hear more about his leelas.Same are performed by Sainath also. In those days Krishna was going along with Gopikas, Yadhavas and cows were trapped in the deep forests which caught fire. They all pleaded Krishna to save them. Krishna realized that all those who are with him were his believers and it becomes his moral obligation to save them. Krishna was 14/15 yrs old at that time. What did he do? He opened his mouth. And Swallowed the entire fire in the forest.Baba also performed similar leelas. In the 11th chapter of Sri Sai Satcharita, the fire from Dhuni in Dwarakamayi was rising its ugly head and rising higher and higher. All the devotees seated were afraid and getting panicky. Baba soon realized, with his Satka in hand, tapped the pillars of Dwarakamayi and commanded the fire levels to come down. Every strike brought the rising fire down. Within minutes the Dhuni came under control .Krishna saved his devotees trapped in the forest fire while Sainath controlled the rising fire in Dwarkamayi and thus saved his devotees trapped in Dwarakamayi. Another incident happened when Krishna was aged around 12 yrs. Indra was angry with Yadhavas and he was instrumental in subjecting them to gales of wind, thunders and heavy rains. Gopikas and elderly people approached Krishna to save them. Krishna took mount Govardhan on his little finger and brought all the people under its cover How about Sai Krishna? Let us refer to the 11th chapter of Sri Sai Satcharita. On one evening in Shirdi; cyclonic weather prevailed with heavy rains and strong winds blowing. People of Shiridi approached Baba in Dwarakamayi and requested Him to save them. Sai looked towards the sky full of dark clouds and uttered Stop! Reduce your anger, “cool down†he shouted. Everything subsided and as rains subsided people went back to their homes, expressing their gratitude to Baba. What Krishna did to his devotees, the same was repeated by Baba to save his devotees in Shirdi.
