Guest guest
I see no problem in seeing the brain as the mirror which the universe, or Self use (whatever name you prefer to designate the immutable source) to see itself. It all boils down to whether you believe in magic, or science. Magic is the belief that results need no rational means. Science is the belief that the universe evolved according to consistent rational rules, and that the brain is the organ that not only reflects the product of such rules, but that can discover those means that created the reflection we enjoy. http://cerosoul.wordpress.com http://awakefiction.wordpress.com Pete

Thoughts about objectivity, thoughts that feel as though they anchor him into some objective reality, give him some sense of control. That's OK -- it's nonvolitional, can't be helped. P: Hehe! Really dude! Is your insistence on not recognizing your brain less of an obsession? >

I don't think much about my kidneys or my spleen, either. Guess I'm not a candidate for medical school... heheh. I acknowledge that they're there. In fact, I believe I did so in elementary school.
