Guest guest
Harsha-ji: i totally agree with you. Our beloved Shyamji is a prolific writer. In many ways , he reminds me of Chitta. Shyamji is very fluent in English and writes in that language with flair and elegance. On a different note , Harshaji your blog and websites are popular. Is it not? May i please kindly request you to give support and encouragement to Dennisji by introducing his new book in your group and other groups you belong to. Have you published Dennisji's story on 'ADVAITA' as yet? In fact , i would request any knowledgeble member here to read Dennisji's book and review it in the amazon web site,. i know Chitta writes beautiful reviews and he has written a review of his guru's book on the amazon site. i am going to send a personal request to him on this. we all need one another's support. As the saying goes - the kauravas fight with the pandavas but when they fight with others they are 105 innumber! so, in that spirit, may i request you to give some publicity to dennisji's book - he needs all our support! thanks ! ps - btw , dennisji is not paying a commission on his book royalty to me! i just thought i will support him in his noble venture! smile ! love and blessings
Guest guest
Dear Dhyansaraswati-Ji: Thank you for your thoughts. Certainly if anyone wants to write a book review for Dennis-Ji, I will be happy to look at it and put it up on the blog. As far as the Advaita story, goes I already responded to Dennis-Ji privately. I have to give it some thought and see where the story would be a good fit. Dennis-Ji's stories could be made more attractive with pictures of the Swami and the reporter, etc. Possibly due to being a devotee of Bhagavan Ramana and the influence of Sri Ramana's teaching, my own thought process is fairly simple. Currently, I have no technical help or assistance for the HS site so things do take longer. All the great past editors and webmasters of the HS website that we have had in the past have gotten busy with other things in their lives. I am much grateful to them. Now, however, I am on my own and the only thing I know how to do is put things on my blog. To make things simpler, I will gradually merge my blog and website so there is only one thing to focus on. Right now, all the new writings being offered by other distinguished scholars are going on the luthar.com blog. I believe the blog and the website do have some presence. Professor VK's article was picked up by a magazine. One of my blog articles was published in Singapore's Gita Jayanti magazine, although I have not seen a hard copy of it. Dennis-Ji's own website, of course, is very very popular and quite excellent and comprehensive. You are right Dhyansaraswati-Ji:. We are all together in this and have to support each other. With me, the main limitations are with the time and lack of technical knowledge about certain areas of web design, etc. We are all doing the best we can. Articles, essays, stories, and poetry are welcome from the distinguished scholars on this list. If there are pictures along with them, all the better. Namaste and love to all Harsha dhyanasaraswati wrote: > Harsha-ji: > > i totally agree with you. Our beloved Shyamji is a prolific writer. In > many ways , he reminds me of Chitta.
