Guest guest
Namaste All! I came across this article by Robert Lanza, a professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and thought it would interest this group. Some excerpts: " Without perception, there is in effect no reality. Nothing has existence unless you, I, or some living creature perceives it, and how it is perceived further influences that reality. " " We must become skeptical of the hard reality of our most cherished conceptions of space and time, and of the very notion of an external reality, in order to recognize that it is the activity of consciousness itself, born of our biological selves, which in some sense creates the world. " " ...there is a part of us connected to the glowworm by the pond near my house. It is the part that experiences consciousness, not in our external embodiments but in our inner being. " You can read the whole article at: http://www.theamericanscholar.org/sp07/newtheory-lanza.html Harih Om. Neelakantan
