Guest guest
Namaste, Respected Members, Mahavakyarathnavali was written by Srimatparamahamsa parivrajaka Acharya Ramachandra Yeti, and it was printed/published by Panduranga Jawaji of Bombay, in 1935 or so. The author had taken 1008 Mahavakyas from the 108 Upanishads and grouped them in to various categories such as Vidhi Vakyani, Samadhi Vakyani, Jeevanmuktha Vakayani, Jaganmithya Vakayani, Anubhava vakyani, etc. It is a very useful pocket book for contemplation. A Xerox copy of this book was given to us in Calcutta by one of our Teachers, Late N.S. Venkatakrishnan around ten years ago. The original which he had itself was a very old copy. The Xerox copy I have now is very illegible and I am trying to get this book, but so far not successful. I would be grateful if any of our members could kindly help in letting me know where I can get it. Thank you very much and with warm regards R.S.Mani R. S. Mani Food fight? But it was a hand- written copy by himself. Even that copy, I know, was torn at the corners. But I have kept it in a ziplog folder. It is now in India back in my home in Bangalore. When I go back to India, I will transcribe it for you. In fact while I was in India I had toyed with the idea of posting it on our list. But it never happened. Thank you for reminding me of the existence of the book. It is a valuable book, I know. I had seen my father keep it all the time nearest to him at hand. PraNAms to all advaitins. profvk
