Guest guest
" SabdajaalaM mahaaraNyaM " says Shankara. Rough translation is that web of words is like a daunting forest. Forest ------ Forest is beautiful with different trees And also daunting with running streams! Tiny plants and growing shrubs Gigantic trees and bulging trunks! Flowering plants and age old ones Sprouting stems and decaying trees! Some areas greatly green without a match Also places dense where sunlight cannot reach! Animals, birds that are mild, wild and gay Roam and play and even wait for their prey! My mind has thoughts more than trees in forest And hatches numerous ones like a tireless nest! Some sprouting ones while others growing And some weakening ones and others dying! Sometimes its clear as the cloudless sky And at times dense with darkness every way! Lord, walking in forest you led even monkeys I pray to Thee for leading me to peace! Lord, you made a sage out of even savage I pray to Thee for getting me out of this maze! Lord, you brought out the best out of even beast I pray to Thee for guiding me at least! Lord, you took birth in a dark dingy prison Pray you enter this mind as much a dark prison! -------------- Hari OM! -Srinivas

Guest guest
hare krishna namaskarams in my trip around those forests i was looking only for that great artist who drew those great bluegreen mountains, splashed across all the colours in the world through those flowers . poured crystal clear flow of water at various places, and who cared them for eternally. who else than my lord krishna and i saw him in action in it in various ways.i felt light and absolutely floating and i dont know what to call that state in our experiences.probably it was another kind of enlightment one gets in the forest. baskaran. EXISTENCE CONSCIOUSNESS BLISS ! May i please share this very first verse from 'NARAYEENIYAM' - THE EPIC POEM ON GURUVAYURAPPAN BY NARAYANA BHATATATHRI , THE KERALITE SAGE AND sANSKRIT SCHOLAR ? SAndrAnandAvabhOdAtmakam Anupamitham kAladEshAvadibhyAm nirmuktam nithyamuktam nigamashathasahasrEnha nirbhAsyamAnam aspashtam drustamAthrE punaruru purushArthAthmakam bhrahmathatvam tthathAvadbhAthi sAkshAd gurupavanapurE hantha bhAgyam janAnam That is of the form of complete knowledge, happiness, incomparable, beyond time and space, ever unattached, although praised by 100,000 verses in the vedas and still beyond description. This brahman, on seeing which one attains the purpose of life (the four purushArthas of dharma, artha, kama and mOksha), is HERE shining, in front of us at Guruvayoor, for humble people to see as their own bagyam (fruit of vows). Indeed a blessing! YES! GURU MEANS ONE WHO REMOVES IGNORANCE - wHO ELSE CAN GIVE US LIGHT eXCEPT THE 'GURU' VAYURAPPAN ? OM NAMO nARAYANA!
