Guest guest
To do prayachiita for the following statement by Tony against two great saints ( who are Devatma swarupas ) and who were not in any 'dehatma' sarrira as claimed by tony , i am going to observe indefinite mouna ... very sad that in a hinduism group dedicated to Jagadguru Shankaracharya , someone can come and say such things and get away with it .... tony writes (Sankara and Ramana only ever discussed the 'Self' which is Saguna. Not every word Ramana and Sankara spoke is the absolute truth for they both had bodies therefore some prarabda. ) in tears .....

I have my feeling that I am a advaitin, and it is nice of you to pray and do mouna for me but an exercise in futility really. However if it makes you feel good then by all means do it.......Tony. Dear Toni-ji, PranAms, Yes, we are all advaitins and this group in particular, is following the traditional adviata sampradaya, with principal reference to shankara's works and prasthanatraya texts. There is no provision for individual opinions, bereft of scriptural support I think. There is a clear demarcation between the jiva, jagat and Ishwara in shankara sampradaya. Even we don't consider an enlightened soul as an avatar, but a jivanmukta. In the krama mukti too it is said that the jiva will ascend to brahma loka and attains almost all powers, except the power of creation. Because, if he gets that, there will be a conflict of will. Can u please give reference from the prastanatraya or from the works of the shankara, where he says that we are all avatars like Bhagavan Krishna ect.???? Let me reiterate, the followers of Shri Shanakracharya, consider him as an incarnation of Shiva on earth. There is no 'prarabhda' for him. If you have doubts please refer to Shankara Dig Vijaya by Madhva vidyAranya (Of course, if you accept its authority!) Yours in Shri Ramakrishna, Br. Vinayaka.
