Guest guest
Namaste Sri Tony: With all respects, we want to request you to stop making your own interpretations that are contrary to statements made by sages and saints. The only reference that you have provided so far is your published unpublished BOOK (unknown to everyone other than you) Refer your post # 35669 " I don't think Sankara talked much about saguna, nirguna. Ramana says that sat-cit-ananda are qualities of the Self, that is attributes in my book. Nir Guna by definition has no nature. Everyone is talking about Saguna for there is nothing to say about Nir Guna.........Tony. " Probably all your statements come from your " BOOK " and please note that your BOOK is not an authority for " Sankara's Advaita Philosophy. " Given this fact, please stop quoting from your own BOOK and state from valid and reliable sources for your words. Scholarly members including Anandaji, Rishiji, Peterji, Sadanandaji and others have alreay explained to you in very clear terms why your observations do not fall in line with Sankara's thoughts and writings. Please note that a number of novice members expect the list to provide them with the correct understanding of Sankara's advaita philosophy. Please do not contradict statements taken from Sankara's works and statements of the sages of the Upanishads. There is nothing wrong in each of us having our own frame-work for our understanding. But we do not have any right to force our thoughts on others and expect everyone to accept what we say. One of the primary reason that we all participate in the list discussions is to correct and enhance our understanding. But if we fail to recognize our shortcomings, we can't call ourselves as advaitins. We request the members not to continue this and related subject thread and let us move on to topics that are directly relevant to Sankara's advaita philophy. regards, Advaitin List Moderator advaitin , " Tony OClery " <aoclery wrote: > > > > Namaste,Dhyana, > > In illusion and delusion we are all devatma swarupas, we are all > avatars.
