Guest guest
Dear Sir, You have mentioned: .>>>>Is it not that the Self is neither existence nor non-existence, neither both, nor even the negation of both.<<<< For my benefit, I would be grateful if you could kindly explain the above statement because all along we have been told that only Self *exists* or Self Shines and everything else shines after the Self. I am sorry to trouble you. With respectful regards Mani R. S. Mani Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Check outnew cars at Autos. However, I shall quote from the mandukaya, even baghavatgita to substantiate this position. The weather in Chennai is very horrible. Hence, let me revert to the site in the eventing giving an explanatory account of my position. What I have attempted to convey is that the true Being is beyond all conceptualizations which take only the above four categories. The knowledge derived from these categories is termed as pasa-jnana by Tirumular. The knowledge of the mere void is termed as pasu-jnana. Only the Pati-jnana which transcends all the two categories is the knowledge of the self. Please go through the text AMRITANUBHAV of JNANESWAR. Even if I were to succeed in explaining this, it would still be a conceptualization. My approach is only by way of pointing out that one should abandon all seeking, the seeking being a detour from the present, the now, which contains all time, which is the only pointer towards truth. I am not being troubled, except that my approach is not one of repeating the scriptures, which even though good in the beginning, is fit to be eschewed at some point of time, as it were, as the word is not the thing. with regards Sankarraman Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell?
