Guest guest
Namaste Here is an article which may be of interest to this group. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1580394-1,00.html This talks about 'the Easy Problem' and 'the Hard Problem' regarding Consciousness. The first one is to distinguish between conscious and unconscious mental occupation. This one is easy for the neuro- scientists. The second one is to prove that subjective experience arises from neural computation and so consciousness is an activity of the brain. The neuroscientists believe they will find solutions to both the problems, but religious thought, particularly advaita, believes the other way. Whatever it be, this 7-page article deserves to be read in full by advaitins. PraNAms to all advaitins. profvk
