Guest guest
Shri Ananda-ji : Since, we are now discussing all these related topics , Deep sleep, Conscious and unsconscious states etc .... could you please explain to this audience how the State of 'witness ' is the same aS that of Deep Sleep and Pure consciousnes ! It will be even more wonderful if you could give some examples to ilustrate the 'sameness' ! PLEASE KEEP IT VERY SIMPLE - i am a little slow on the uptake .... As you know, Shri Atmananda ji also had fleeting experiences of Nirvikalpa Samadhi but he just like Sri Ramana bhagwan did not believe in the 'Nirvikalpa samadhi' - which brings up an important point - the state of nirvikalpa samadhi is not the same as state of deep sleep which is state of pure awareness . Am i confused or what ? on another note, Shri Atmanandaji's guruji Yogananda wanted his disciple to practice bioth bhakti marga and Yoga before diving into Jnana marga but the disciple was more inclined towards Jnana marga ? Is therw any particular reason why the Guru thought his disciple should go through the paths of Bhakti and Yoga before taking to Jna Marga ( the path of inquiry) in a full fledged way ?iS IT BECAUSE THE DISCIPLE WAS ALREADY READY ?
