In any case, how exactly are we going to maintain that Vedanta is less superstitious than the Yellama cult? Namaste, In the first place I'm not sure we have all the teachings of Sankara proved. Much of what he said has probably been expurgated by the followers of caste and rite etc. If he was superstitious, and I was giving the benefit of the doubt, then he wasn't who people said he was. He may be just another myth, we aren't not even sure when he was born. As Vedanta is taught at present it still seem to preserve some superstitions, as a sop to those whose minds are steeped and programed. Some may call it devout I would say it is deluded. Piety is just a fixation and programing on a certain view that's all..............Hu. Expecting? Get great news right away with email Auto-Check. Try the Mail Beta.
