Guest guest
Namaste, It is probably reasonable to say that my existence is awareness. Unless I have awareness, there is no question of declaring existence or non-existence. There are some people in coma - they don't have awareness but they still exist because their body is functioning (maybe not - I don't know). More generally, existence is there even without awareness. Why do we need a conscious entity to validate existence ? Plants flower at night, it may rain 10 inches at night and we will see the resulting water etc in the morning. So jagat definitely exists - whether I am awake or in deep sleep. How is existence or non-existence or mithya nature of jagat related to my state ? thanks and regards, Shailendra

This is the fallacy of falling into the time trap. Without awareness, how will you see the water in the morning? > So jagat definitely exists - whether I am > awake or in deep sleep. How is existence or non-existence or mithya > nature of jagat related to my state ? It isn't. Awareness per se has no states. Any state is only established in the presence of awareness. dhanyavAdaH Ramesh

Awareness is never absent. Maybe " awareness of (some knowledge) " maybe absent, but awareness per se is never absent. WarmRegards Mani R. S. Mani Bored stiff? Loosen up...
