Guest guest
Deari Nair-ji, There are two words- pratyaktA and asya. pratyak means inward, the opposite of parAk, outward. asya means of it (of the Self). pratyaktA means inwardness. This is translated in your book as immediate awareness. Inwardness is the exact meaning and that is what is given by Dr. R. Balasubramanian in his book on Naishkarmyasiddhi..The meaning therefore is-- Inwardness is the intrinsic nature of the Self. It is without action, the factors of action and the fruits of action. It is without a second. This intellect ignited by it, as it were, appears as the inner Self. " __________ PraNAms.
