Guest guest
Dear Sadananda-ji, I am very glad to read what you have written about Stig-ji. It is very nice to know that he has acquired such proficiency in vedAnta and is about to get his Ph-D. I am also glad that I was not wrong in thinking that his name sounded Swedish. It is also very interesting to know that you have been able to get acquainted with so many scholars through advaitin. I am looking forward to meeting you in Chennai soon. Regards, S.N.Sastri
Guest guest
Sadaji : Believe it or not, THE JEWELLER IN ME RECOGNIZED THE GEM IN STIG when i read his posts in advaitin a few years ago .i thought what a wonderful combination of vedanta and scholarship - and a handsome swede at that - i corresponded with Stig and sent him a picture of my unmarried daughter at that time ! but , destiny had other plans ! Stigi escaped from this potentially awful m-i-l ! smile:-) i am sure he will find a nice, attractive and accomplished Karnartaka girl soon, if Mother Saradhamibika wills ! i have met some wonderful persons through the Advaitin list ! ON A SCALE OF ONE TO TEN, CHITTARANJAN NAIK is 'ten' - i just adore him and there is noone who can replace him in my affections ! then comes Anandaji - Anandaji - what can i say ? Humility personified - an advaitin in thought , word and deed ! A POET, PHILOSOPHER AND A GREAT HUMAN BEING ! RANI RASMATI constructed the Dakshineshwer temple for Sri Ramakrishna's Mother Kaaali ! If it was in my power , i would construct an international library only hosting Anandaji's and his guru atmanandaji's works ! He will not even hurt a Soul in his sleep - such are the stuff Mahatamas are made of ! Then ccomes Dennisji -very down to earth, a practical guy. but someone compassionate and caring . Not a complex person! i just like him because he shows no favoritism ! sunderji - This list and i owe a lot to him! He is the very embodiment of Dharma and nishkama karma ! he is the 'invisible ' hand who guides this list on a daily basis . my admiration and love for him only grows with time ! my blessings are always with him! nairji - whaat can i say ? He is just a man after my heart ! Calls a spade a spade --and he is 'fearless' - the true hallmark of aan advaitin! in fact , i cannot really single out anyone - i love them all for different reasons - Professorji for his 'pratibha' shakti; Ramji for his commitment to a cause ; Sadaji for his erudition and scholarship ; Shastriji for his 'medha' and 'versatility'.... i can go on and on for all are dear to me including Bhaskar prabhuji though we often disagree only to agree ! my this year's favorites are shyamji and paramahamsvivekanandaji along with last year's favorite vinayakaji ! Thank you moderators ---- i am just a small 'fry' in this giant wheel of Samsara ! love and regards ps sadaji - lakshmiji is now settled on the banks of Tungabhadra near Sringeri temple - she is beautifull inside out! and subbuji - he is my GURU and i always turn to him when i have a question ! how can i foget Harshaji who delights us all with so many interesting posts! advaitin , kuntimaddi sadananda <kuntimaddisada wrote: > > Shreeman Sastri gaaru - PraNAms > > While endorsing your timely tributes to Stig Lundgren, > I am taking pride to claim that I have known Stig for > very long time.
