Members, Please DO NOT CHANGE THE SUBJECT TITLE

Recently we have received suggestions from several members that the

list should keep same subject title when a serious discussion gets

started. We have noticed that some members continuously change the

subject title by adding additional words and phrases and change the

focus of a serious discussion. If and when a change in a subject

title becomes necessary, one of the moderators will make appropriate

changes. We request all members to keep the list highly focused with

discussions that can provide new insights on the subject matter.

 

Two examples of recent inappropriate change of the subject title are

provided below:

 

Example 1:

 

Karma and Reincarnation (Original Thread)

 

Re: Karma and Reincarnation (Correct Continuation)

 

Karma and Reincarnation - a question to Dennisji

 

Re: karma and re-incarnation- am i a real hindu?

 

Re: karma and re-incarnation- hindu and advaita ?

 

 

Example 2:

 

What's in a name, anyway? (Original Thread Title)

 

Re: What's in a name, anyway? (Correct Continuation)

 

Re: What's in a name, anyway! Vedas symbolized as Cow!

 

Re: What's in a name, anyway! Holy Cow!

 

Re: What's in a name! Divine madness & Dementia!

 

Members are also requested to not to add materials irrelevant

materials (whether they are from Gita or Vedas) in the middle of a

serious subject matter discussion. The list is planning to revised

the list guidelines in the near future to incorporate what is stated

here.

but , i have nalso noticed that since the moderators' announcement

re 'changing the subject title , the following titles have also been

changed ! Moderators , looks like overlooked these aberrations !

Karma and Reincarnation itself was an new thread - was an off shhot

of an earlier thread ! as well as Mechanic and Organic , off shhot

of an earlier thread! ( but , needless to say , i luved Anandaji's

originality in giving an appropriate title ! )

 

well, i am not going to do further research on this -waste of my

precious time and the moderators!

 

btw , what is serious and lighhearted ! that itself is being

dualistic!

 

anyway , i know with Dennisji exiting , we will be back to the old

world of military regimentation and censorship!
