Guest guest
Sri Vinayaka asks : (Is there any great tragedy if a true bhakta of sri krishna dies without recalling him due to some mental disorder? Will the lord allow such things to happen? ) Oh! Vinayaka ! You ask such interesting questions and your veera mataji has to put her thinking cap on ! but Lord Krishna always comes to my rescue! Vinayaka , who could be more celibate than Bhisma Pitamaha ? He was a brahmachari from head to toe ! When Bhisma , the war general , was lying on the bed of arrows in the Kurukshetra war and was awaiting death , he composed what iws called Bhsima sthuthi! here , it is my pleasure to recall the last and final verse of Bhisma sthuthi! : Tamimahamajam SarIrabhAjaam hrudhi-hrudhi dhishtitham Aathma kalpithAnAm Prathidhrusamiva naikadhArkamEkam samadhigathOsmi vidhUtha-bhEdhamOha: Bhisma says " I have now realized that the eternal/birthless Lord is the Supreme One, who shines in the hearts of all of His creations; my nescience has been banished now. The Sun in the Sky is the Only One, which is perceived by the eye. The eyes that look at this One object however are many, but it is the same, one and only Sun seen by many eyes. Just as the Image (Prathi-Bimbham) of the Sun is seen as different objects by many and yet there is no change in the Sun, I have understood clearly now that the Lord seen as the resident of many heart lotuses is still the Same Supreme Being. This Jn~Anam has taken firm root in my mind and I have now attained the status of KruthArthan. " Well, Vinayakaji ! You can interpret it anyway you like - as an expression of Advaita bhakti ( SEE PROFESSORJI'S EXPLANATION OF THE SAME VERSE ON HIS WEB SITE ) or as 'sharangati' tattwa of a Sri Krishna devotee - it does not matter ! The fact is a true jnani is always a aand a true bhakta is always a jnani till the end ! So , where is the question of a parama jnani or a parama bhakta losing his real Identity ? Vinayakaji , please say this verse every night and you will never forget it ! mayy eva mana adhatsva mayi buddhim nivesaya nivasisyasi mayy eva ata urdhvam na samsayah ( 12 : 8) Poojya gurudeva Chinmayanandaji explanation " Fix your mind on Me only, place your intellect in Me; then, (thereafter) you shall, no doubt, live in Me alone. " Yes! Dear heart ! Sri Krishna bhagwan does not 'reside' in your head only;( or in the advaitin archives/files) Sri Krishna should be in your heart also ! You may forget to think but can you forget to breathe ? Even a man/woman suffering from Alzhemier's may forget names/forms etc but can he forget to breathe ? As long there is 'breath' in his / her body - Sri Krishna will be in his /her breath! This 'abhyasa' will never be dissipated ! Jai Sri Krishna !
