Dear Advaitin groups,

 

Dear Advatin group members,

 

I have a personal request. Under the auspices of Sringeri Sharadha peetam, a

Shankara institution known as 'Sringeri Vidhya Bharati foundation' is to be

constructed at our location. We are located in Michigan.

 

This chapter (to be constructed specifically at Farmington) will begin with full

force by the end of this month. The inauguration cermony to is to be held

sometime during this month and is yet to be secheduled. This is the second

Shankara foundation to be constructed in the United States. For those of you who

do not know this- the first of its kind was built in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

The general idea is to construct a Shankara institute in all the 4 locations of

the United States- The north, the south, the east, and the west.

 

While creating a website for this center, I have tried my stint at providing a

birds eye view of the Advaita Vendanta to the local residents.

 

I wish to seek your permission to extract some of the resources from your

database. I believe that some of the files (I am refering to the .doc and the

..pdf files located under the link articles) are invaluable resources for

students of Vedanta and I am sure that the local residents would benefit

immensely from perusing through these artilces.

 

May I please proceed to download some of the files located at your site? (A hard

copy of which is ofcourse is to be included in our site).

 

I also wish to add a link to your group. There are thousands of ardent devotees

of Adi Shankara here and I am sure that they would be more than happy to become

a member of this group.

 

I take this opportunity to invite some of the pundits in Advaita Vendata from

this group to provide input and perhaps even participate in the discourses to be

held in our institute (that is mandatory to keep the peetam going).

 

Please do visit us at Farmington, MI. I have participated in some of the

impressive discussions in this wesbite and have learnt a lot from the threads

posted in this website. I personally feel that the devotees in Michigan will

also benefit immensely from all your knowledge and wisdom. I will keep you

posted.
