Hi Dennis,

That would be non-apprehension of duality I think you mean

however I think diversity is better because it is a rawer immediate

sensory input. Can I put to you the seeming paradox that one might

simultaneously have an apprehension of diversity or multiple sensory input

and at the same time the non-apprehension of diversity?

Best Wishes,

Michael.

Namaste,

This is how Vivekachudamani describes the jnani:

svapnAlokitalokavajjagadidaM pashyankvachillabdhadhI\-

" Freed from awareness of any external object by reason of his ever

being Brahman, consuming only what is needed for bodily sustenance

proffered to him by others like one in sleep or like a child, looking

at this world when he comes to external sight like one seen in adream,

remains the blessed one enjoying infinite merit. He is to be honored on

earth. "

Dear Sunder-ji,

It is better to dive deep into the heart of reality than breaking

one's head with the so called epistemology of advaita, et al, as

explained in the VP.

Best Regards,

Br. Vinayaka.

Namaste Br. Vinayaka,

I agree. The redeeming clause is as Pushpandanta put it in

Shiva-Mahimna Stotra:

trayI sAN^khyaM yogaH pashupatimataM vaiShNavamiti

prabhinne prasthAne paramidamadaH paThyamiti cha |

ruchInAM vaichitryAdRRijukuTila nAnApathajuShAM

nRRiNAmeko gamyastvamasi payasAmarNava iva || 7 ||

" The different practices based on the three Vedas, SaMkhya, Yoga,

Pashupata-mata, VaishhNava-mata etc . are but different paths (to

reach to the Greatest Truth) and people on account of their different

aptitude choose from them whatever they think best and deserved to be

accepted . But as the sea is the final resting place for all types of

streams , You are the only reaching place for all people whichever

path,straight or zigzag, they may accept . (7) "
