Guest guest
hariH OM! namaskaar to all. it's quite obvious how mankind has managed to accomplish extraordinary works in art, music, architecture, literature, medicine, technology, philosophy, etc...to the point of revealing astounding degrees of genius. however, as a chain is as strong as its weakest link, the capability or talent we lack, and the one evidently needed the most--which lack has in fact resulted in mass starvations, world wars, collapses of cultural empires (for instance, the roman, british, and now likely the american) as well as why, incidentally, it's so difficult for aspirants to achieve so-called Self-realization--is *genius in commonsense*. commonsense in fact exposes the profound importance of the presentation of ideas in their simplest distilled form, which applied to the advaita marga reveals in actuality: THE ABSURDITY OF THE IDEA ITSELF OF " SELF-REALIZATION " 1. whether or not an individual considers himself awake to his essential Self-being (i.e. that he is gainfully/pragmatically " Self- realized " ), he nevertheless indeed *is*. 2. regardless of his deleriously misguided thoughts dictating otherwise, he *is*. 3. regardless of his imperfections in thought, speech, and action, he *is*. 4. regardless of what he, she, or they think of him, he *is*. ......for, lo, it's only the judgmental mind disproportionately inflated with the belief that it has not only the right, but the *capacity*, to judge, condemn, and refuse to grant its host release from its self-imposed prison of ignorance... when in fact, nothing can be further from the truth of what really IS! for example, if water could speak, would it be necessary for it to proclaim its wetness? while, on the other hand, under *any* circumstances, could it possibly say that it's dry?! and here's a simple question/answer by sri ramana: Q: By what indication are the learned able to recognize the jnani? Sri Ramana: From the mark of equality towards all beings one's (attainment of) jnana is inferred. OM ramanarpanamasthu!
