Guest guest
Dear brothers on the Way. In the course of the debate about " How far vedanta...etc, our honoured brother frank maiello, quoted Sri Ramana Maharshi. " The world is not considered unreal to vedantins. That is a mistake. It is unreal as world, yet real as the Self (brahman's projection...brahman's lila). " A hmble attempt to shed more light on Sri Ramana Words. hsin: World is unreal in the sense that man's as ego lives his ambitions, hopes, pleasures and pain. All these superimpositions make man lives his ego, without ever experiencing or living the reality of the world he is living in now. In other words, the ego- ridden man is living his own fantasies, totally and absolutely oblivious to the real world around him as if he is doped. The vedantin, has understood the above truth and has no options but to pursue the course of unlearn living his ego or to learn how to live without his ego. When the ego and its ramifications are transcended or discarded all the illusions or all the curtains are vanished, leaving the true world in its place, a true world where there is no multiplicity or duality a true Advita or Advitic life.
