praNAms Shri Devanathan-ji (and other elders),

In post #39262, you had neatly summarized the various differences

between Bhamati and Vivarana. In that is the following comparison:

>B: the mind is a sense organ

>V: mind is not a sense organ

I would like to know how can both of the schools be consistent,

with 15.7 of Bhagavad Gita, where the Lord clearly says

" manaHshhashhThaaniindriyaaNi " ?

[i could not entirely follow your explanations last time. If you

have already explained this concept, kindly give me the post

number. I will read it.]

praNAms to all Advaitins,

Ramakrishna
