Bhamati vs. Vivarana - 3 (Moderator's Note)

List Moderators' Note: (Bhasker Prabhuji should note that this note is

addressed to all members and is a general note)

 

Members are informed about the powerful search engine available within

the list archive (advaitin/messages/). If

you want to read previous posts in any thread, use the search engine to

get all messages under the thread. In the case of a thread with a

sequential numbers such as Bhamati vs. Vivarana -3, members should

search separately for <Bhamati vs. Vivarana-1>, <Bhamati vs. Vivarana-

2>, and <Bhamati vs. Vivarana-3> separately. Ideally it will be

beneficial for any member to read the entire thread of messages before

asking question in order to avoid unnecessary repetition of messages.

This is the best way for members to progress in their understanding.

 

Also members are once again reminded not to include the entire messages

of previous posters while sending a reply. We have also noticed some

members send replies with a single word such as " good!, " " thanks, " or a

single sentence of appreciation to the poster. Please be aware when you

send your one 'word' replies, the mail gets delivered to all members

which unnecessary fills up members' mail boxes! Send your appreciation

to the poster using individual email address instead of using the list

mail address.

 

Any steps that we take to minimize the unnecessary emails to the list

and unnecessary volume of message (by keeping only relevent part of

previous poster's message while sending your replies) will be

beneficial to all of us. We sincerely request your attention and

Problem for me ( I dont know about others) is I donot have the access to

internet here in my office..Hence, it is very difficult for me to search

for the old posts in internet...That is the reason why I requested Sri

Devanathan prabhuji to send me the earlier posts...Kindly pardon me for

bringing my personal problem to the list. Sorry for the inconvenience

caused to moderators in this regard.
