All desire are only impresson and are stored in pranamaya and mano-maya kosas after death (according to Yoga philosophy). According to these impressons one should take birth and enjoy or suffer the fruits in a new body (while pranamaya and manomaya kosa bodies remain the same) and a new environment which may not be as one has imagined but according to his Karma only!
