Guest guest
Hello all, I have been thinking about this " free will " idea and how it relates to what I know, not much at this point but I want to give you my idea of how i have assimilated this information you have all so kindly shared. As far as I have learned the gunas are acting, not on the self but on Prakrti, matter, mind senses, etc. So, as long as I am disconnected from the Self this Prakrti rules my existence. As I get closer to realization i become more in control of my Prakrti, thus this Prakrti loses it's free will and I just allow it to happen as now i am using the self to guide me. Any and all comments are certainly welcome and invited. John Miller
Guest guest
Then there is the realization of Self...that you are That and there is no other. As there is no others...what can be done and to what/whom? Without separation (doer, done, doing) there is no doer. With no doer, were does free will come in? Therefore the discussions of free will, including the current one, as well as prArabda are valid only in vyavahaara. Once there is realization of there is no doer, where is doer for the discussion too! Hari Om! Sadananda
