Guest guest
I have just had a request from an email correspondent to recommend a CD recording of traditional chanting of the verses from the Bhagavad Gita. Can anyone help, since I have not heard any. Best wishes, Dennis
Guest guest
Dennis - there was mp3 on line that I could down load at one time- I think the chanting is by Swami Brahmanandaji of Chinmaya Mission, Bangalore. I do not have the web address now. May be somebody can provide. Chinmaya Mission style of chanting is now followed through out, I think it was introduced by Swami Dayanandaji when he was associated with Chinmaya Mission. There are also Cds available from Chinmaya Mission publications - by Smt. Sarada Kumar. She has very melodious voice and used chant the slokas for Swami Chinmayanandaji when he was teaching. Hari Om! Guest guest
Dennis, Swami Dayananda has a 2CD set out that I believe is the entire Bhagavad Gita chanted by him. The CD set is entitled, " Divine Verses of Bhagavad Gita - entire Gita chanted by Swami Dayananda (2 CDs) " It is available for only 20 bucks at his Arsha Vidya Gurukulam bookstore website. I believe this is a direct link to that CD set (if it line breaks, you may need to piece it): http://books.arshavidya.org/cgi-bin/process/shop/display/main?type=display & subty\ pe=category & arg=category & value=Arsha%20Vidya%20Books%2C%20Audio%20%26%20Video I sincerely hope this is of help.
