Hi all

 

Bless the internet - the wealth of information I have found in my

spiritual search has been awesome (sometimes overwhelming and

confusing as well)

 

I live in Southern NSW, Australia and grew up christian. However,

since my teens I have had the realisation that there is other

religions / philoshophies that fit my beliefs alot better.

 

I also realised that all paths lead to the same " God " .

 

So since then I have done lots of studies on sooo many religions -

witchcraft, buddhism, bahai, you name it - I've read a bit about it.

 

I have recently turned 30 and felt I'd accomplished alot of things in

my life - such as a good job, a family etc and knew there was

something else i needed to sort out.

 

So hence my recent search - much more focused than ones when i was

younger. I have come to the conclusion that Hindu based religion is

what my beliefs are closest to.

 

My local yoga teacher is associated with the advaita study. Also, I

have been getting some teaching from Siddhartha Krishna - Rishikesh

India - from the Omkarananda Ashram - also advaita.

 

I am currently studying the bhagavad gita, the vedas etc

 

I have joined alot of groups and am doing alot of reading. The way of

life is not hard to understand for me - but all the background is

difficult - like all the gods etc - although i realise these are, in

the end, not really necessary to know.

 

So, basically i am a student of hindu, yoga, advaita. Looking forward

to reading everything and probably asking lots of questions.

You are indeed blessed. Shree Siddhartha Krishna is very knowledgeble person.

Please follow his teachings. There are also many articles in the Dennis waite's

website that are of introductory nature that will help your study.
